Girls united & nike special event
Sign-up your girls to an inspiring evening at the
Nike Winning with Confidence Workshop
We’ll dive into the world of body confidence in sports with a Nike x Dove Body Confident Sport workshop led by body image and sport expert, Dr Kat Schneider from EVERYBODY.
Nike product experts will educate the girls on Nike sports bras and give them the chance to customise their own Nike gifted sports bra. They’ll also be a Q&A with a panel of body confidence experts, in which the girls will be given the opportunity to ask any questions! We encourage everyone to come with an open mindset ready for an evening of celebrating confidence, empowerment, and the joy of sport!

Together, we’ll explore what it means to feel body confident in sport—focusing on what our bodies can do rather than what they look like. We’ll challenge outdated ideas of what athletes are “supposed” to look like, break down barriers holding girls back from moving their bodies, and celebrate the unique ways our bodies help us play, grow, and thrive.
The workshop will feature an informal and supportive group discussion, guided journaling activities, mindfulness exercises, and gentle stretches, creating a safe space to reflect, connect, and embrace the joy of movement.

In this session, Nike product trainers will ensure the girls are provided with the skills to choose the right sports bra for their bodies, so they feel comfortable and supported when they head out to the field, court or pitch.
Educating the girls in style and support options can help ensure a positive experience and minimise negative body talk. Some girls might already know what style they find most comfortable. For others, it’ll be a totally new experience.
The aim of this session will be to help the girls stay connected and engaged in sport now and for the rest of their lives. And as part of this effort, girls can also start to discover how body image and comfort affects their experience with sport and how sports bras affect play. Creating safe, comfortable and empowering bra-education sessions is an important way we can help girls build confidence and feel good about themselves – the exact same things we want girls to gain from sport.
