Our Impact
About Girls United
Establish Football Clubs Providing girls with spaces to engage in sport.
Create Confident Leaders Using the Girls United Methodology to provide life skills and develop pathways, on and off the pitch.
Levelling the Playing Field Embedding our programmes and promoting equality in the wider community.
CHALLENGE Due to negative stereotypes and limiting gender roles, girls and women do not have access to the same opportunities in sport, education and the economy, resulting in gender gaps that go beyond the pitch and into society.
OPPORTUNITY We created a worldwide association to equip girls with life skills through football programmes. There is a significant offering gap in female football, which opens the opportunity for us to be key players in the industry. Our sister club model allows sustainable and scalable impact.
VISION Girls United exists to empower girls and young women, and level the playing field from disparities in gender and socioeconomic capabilities. From social to professional players, Girls United FA will be the leading womenโs football association worldwide.
