Why It Matters

Football has the power to change a life. But for too many girls, the opportunity to play remains out of reach. Adolescent girls are twice as likely as boys to be inactive, limiting their opportunities to benefit from sport and physical activity.

What Girls United Does

Girls United uses football as a tool to help girls build confidence, develop life skills and access opportunities on and off the pitch.

Founded in 2017, Girls United run clubs and programmes in Mexico and England. We have impacted more than 9,800 girls globally, helping them access the benefits of sport and unlock new opportunities for their future.
